Bowling Tomorrow!

We had different plans for tomorrow, but it doesn't look like the weather will cooperate, so...let's go bowling instead! We'll meet at the bowling alley at our regular meeting time and work on earning the Bowling belt loop. Be sure to bring $5.25 ($3.50 for the game and $1.75 for shoe rental). Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Thanks for the Day Camp Registrations!

Thanks to everyone for getting your Day Camp Registrations in on time! We have all the boys signed up who will be in town that day. It should be a lot of fun!

Tomorrow we'll meet at our regular time and place for Scouts. The Wolves and Bears will be working on the Feats of Skill/Building Muscle requirements as well as finishing up the Physical Fitness Belt Loop. Please continue to help your boys do five exercises regularly throughout the month and keep track of their improvement.

Day Camp Registration Due Tomorrow

I just want to remind everyone that we would like to have your day camp registration forms and money turned in to us tomorrow. The fee is $15, and you can make your check out to BSA (or pay with cash).

Also, the Wolves and Bears will be working with tools tomorrow, so if they can and want to bring a hammer and pliers, that would be great.

And one more thing...please continue to work with your boys (the Wolves and Bears) on physical fitness. Just help them to do five exercises regularly throughout the month and track their progress. We will finish up the other requirements for the physical fitness belt loop next week.

Thanks for all of your help and support. Please let us know if you have any questions about any of these topics or anything else.

Fun at Lowe's

Thanks to all the boys and parents who came to Lowe's for the building project on Saturday! The boys did a great job, and I think it was a lot of fun.

Reminder: Building Project at Lowe's Tomorrow

Just a reminder for the Wolves (and anyone else who wants to participate)...We will be meeting at Lowe's tomorrow at 10:00am to participate in the Build & Grow Clinic. We will also meet on Tuesday at our regular time and place to finish up the Tools for Fixing and Building/Sawdust and Nails requirements for the Wolves and Bears.

Also, we would like the Wolves and Bears to be working on the physical fitness belt loop at home. Please help your boys do five exercises regularly and keep track of their progress throughout the month. We will finish up the rest of the belt loop requirements with them later this month. (We tried to give them time to do the exercises each week during Scouts, but it just takes up too much time and makes it hard for us to get anything else done during the den meetings.) Some suggestions for exercises are sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, running, standing long jump, and a ball throw. The exercises can be anything you want, as long as you can track the progress and improvement in those exercises throughout the month.

And one more thing (Sorry I get so wordy)...We have the information on Day Camp. It will be on Wednesday, June 8th, and the fee is $15 per boy. We would like to have all of the registration forms and money turned in to us by next Tuesday. If you have not received a registration form, we will either try to drop it off to you at your house or find you at church on Sunday. As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
